Floral Design
It all began with a love for flowers and a passion for all things pretty. My name is Veronica and my journey in the floral industry started with my own wedding. With grand dreams of a flower filled celebration I took it upon myself to source and design all the florals I had dreamed of and made my vision come to life. I also lost a lot of sleep in the process but it was an amazing day and my desire to know everything I can about flowers and floral design was born!
Since then, I have honed my floristry skills by attending various professional trainings including the Canadian Institute of Floral Design in Toronto and McQueens Flower School in London UK. I have also completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at ACAD.
When planning your event’s florals details is everything and I am committed to be your best ally in making your flower vision come to life. All walks of life are welcome in my flower world and it is always an honour to be chosen as your florist.
Hand Crafted Body Care
At Bloom & Basil and Alberta Lavender Farm, we believe that luxurious self-care starts with simple ingredients grown in healthy soil. Our bath and body care products are handcrafted in small batches using only natural ingredients and essential oils. Many of the botanicals used in our products are grown on our lavender & herbs farm here in Alberta (Alberta Lavender Farm). In working with nature, we are mindful of the environmental impact of our products. All products are free of synthetic dyes and harmful chemicals, cruelty free and our packaging is sustainable. Most importantly, our lavender, herbs and flowers are grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides.
